Overall, there are great ideas presented in this Educational Philosophy. Student needs to say more of
what she would do rather than what teachers should do. I feel there needs to be more explanation of B.F.
Skinners theory of operant conditioning. Explain how the students replace the bad action with a correct
one and use an example. Finally, there are a few areas that need to be reworded; for example, the fourth
paragraph begins Besides learning, teachers . Teachers are not learning. Students are learning.
Teachers are instructing the students in certain content areas. One other area is in the third paragraph
where least advanced students are mentioned. I believe that person first language should be used and
students who are not as advanced or students who are struggling or even students with learning
disabilities should be used instead. As a teacher, we want to see the student, not the label or disability of
the student.
