Executive Summary
In todays world, there are more
and more devices such as lamps,
chargers, music players, etc.
placed on our desks, making them
crowded. It is now necessary to
eliminate these devices and
substitute them with a device that
integrates all the functions for
efficiency.
Super Light is a product that
performs the tasks of multiple desk
devices. Along with all the
functions, its modern design also
follows the trend. Super Light
saves space and money. The cost
and maintenance of multiple
products are unnecessary expense.
The price of Super Light is lower
than the sum price of the devices it
substitutes. Using one device for
multiple functions also saves time.
Super Light is a modern indoor
electronic device that has all the
advantages above. The following
lists the functions.
Air cleaner: the air quality in the
present world is unhealthy. To
prevent the harm, Super Light uses
scientific-proven methods to purify
surrounding air.
Eye protector: a smart light of 256
colors with different illumination

intensities provides an
ergonomically designed
environment that relieves
eye strains and extends work
time with comfort.
Music Player: the product
contains a music player to
play music from FT card,
Bluetooth or wire connection.
Charger: the product is a

Current Challenges
Air pollution PM 2.5
What is PM2.5? Particle pollution (also known as "particulate matter")
in the air includes a mixture of solids and liquid droplet. Those less than
10 micrometers in diameter (PM10) are so small that they can get into
the lungs, potentially causing serious health problems. PM2.5 is now a
global environmental issue, and rising publics awareness. Although
governments are making efforts to control air pollution, the air
pollution is severer year after year, as shown in Figure 2ii.

It is companies duty to offer their employees a healthy working

environment. Super Light helps to achieve this goal.

Monitors on the desks have been bigger and bigger, and people have
more devices on table now: desk lamp, cell phone, tablet, mobile
power, etc. In fact, what people really need is not these devices, but
their functions. A real solution is to integrate the functions into one
new devices, Super Light.

Functions and characteristics

Super Light can address and solve the above challenges.
Air Purifier:
The general idea of current air purifier is pushing the air into the
machine, filtrating dust, nocuous and odorous gas in air through
several filter screens, and emitting cleaned air. A large volume of air
could be processed at one time, but the disadvantage is its low
effectiveness of purifying. Another way is by emitting silver ions, lowtemperature ions or other negative ions to kill bacteria, but it has
limited effect on removing dustiii. Combing these two technologies,
Super Light removes both dust and bacteria in the air. It has eight
layers of filter, respectively in charge of filtrating hair and dust;
eliminating bacteria groups; removing toxic molecules such as
formaldehyde; resolving formaldehyde into carbon dioxide and water
through activated silica; killing microorganisms through nano silver
layer; resolving toxic gas and killing bacteria under ultraviolet rays;
creating activated oxygen through negative ion layer.
There are few buttons on the panel, making it simple for users to
choose from automatic clean mode, or other functions.

Working efficiency has a lot to do with surrounding illumination, as shown in
Figure3.

It is obvious that the working productivity increases with the increase of

illumination. In addition, the appropriate illumination benefits not only the
working efficiency of physical labor, but also that of headwork, which requires
memory and logical thinking.
Super Light offers the most comfortable color and suitable local illumination
corresponding to the general illumination environment. Users can also adjust
the light for their own preferences. In our tests, the light provided by Super
Light significantly improved the office efficiency, as shown in Figure 4.

Music player
Super Light provides music volume of 30 levels with good quality, which
satisfies the high demand of enjoying music. The source of music can be a FT
card, a wired connection (linked with a computer, MP3 player or smart phone),
or Bluetooth (connected with a computer or a smart phone).

Super Light provides three USB interfaces. Any device that has an USB
