funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation intended to foster the
development of a new generation of creative thinkers in health policy research
within the disciplines of economics, political science and sociology.
Provide program management and coordination for the Scholars in Health
Policy Research Program. Create, maintain and support the current project
plan and assist in efforts to expand and revise program scope and objectives.
Grant and business Accounting. Responsible for financial management,
accounts payable, and verifying availability of funds and allowable expenses.
Event planning for Annual Meeting and other program critical events. Manage
site selection, planning, logistics, collateral development, and delivery of
successful events, including needs assessment and work plan,
communications with attendees and speakers, registration operations and
reporting and evaluating program events and operations.

Partnerships for Quality Education (PQE) was a national medical education
initiative funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. It had a multi-year
grant of $8.9 million with annual operating budgets of $350,000-$500,000.
Project management for the ACT program, a national web-based medical
education curriculum demonstration project with multiple sites. Managed the
scope, schedules and resources for critical activities and provided project
communication and status reporting to all levels (Project Sponsor/funder,
clients/grantees, and the project team). Assured high standards of quality by
participating in site visits and evaluating deliverables.
Grant accounting and administration. Responsible for financial/budget
management including, budget development, analysis and projections,
accounts payable and accounts receivable, and internal and external grant
reporting. Performed lead role in contracting of awarded proposals.
Event Planner for PQE national meetings. Conducted meeting planning, on-site
and post-event activities including needs assessments, budgeting,
communications with attendees and speakers, contract review and negotiation
with vendors, and evaluated program events and operations.
Managed trade show promotions including the planning and execution of
events, managing design of marketing publications and mailings, collecting
leads and procuring and coordinating vendor services.
Managed the ACT web site including: contracting with platform vendor,
managed and updated site content to conform with vendor technical
