Welcome and Introduction to the


Course
A warm welcome to all the students of course entitled Business and Labor
Law (MGT611) in new semester (Fall 2014). We strongly believe that
knowledge to identify and apply legal principles and legislation support
business decision making. As a result, this gain of knowledge will develop
your personality and will open up a unique range of career options.
Business and Labor Law will allow students to focus on individual interests as
well as explore a full array of topics. The rich and varied curriculum includes
traditional as well as newer subject areas that provide a challenge to
overcome legal issues that punctuate the life of a business. This course will
empower you to intelligently request, understand and act on legal services
and advice when avoidance is not possible.
In short, the course has been designed to inform, educate and support
students for a better well-being. As accountability and personal liability of
professionals continues to grow, a strong grounding on business law is being
seen as striking element for employers all over the world.
In this course your knowledge would be tested through Quizzes, Graded
Discussion Boards (GDB), Assignments, Mid-Term and Final Term
Examinations. All the testing instruments will not only test your knowledge
but also provide you the opportunity to face the challenges in the practical
life ahead. You can only benefit from the test instruments if you attempt
them by using your own skills.
