Suresh Jes Deepak, the new account representative from Adler Marketing Firm, sent a letter to Jason McClough at Northway Management Guild presenting five logo design concepts for the company. The logos were designed to symbolize progressiveness, the company's northern location, and growth. Logo one displays an arrow pointing north to represent location and direction. Logo two has the same arrow design with friendly color combinations. Logo three takes an environmental approach with pine trees indigenous to the region. Logo four shows a star taking off to represent excellence and sophistication. Logo five combines a star design with both abbreviations and the full company name. Suresh requests that Jason reviews the designs and provides feedback on combining

April 23, 2013 Mr. Jason McClough Vice President of Marketing Northway Management Guild, Inc. 601 Arch, Minneapolis, MN, 00000 Subject: Design Ideas Dear Mr. McClough, My name is Suresh Jes Deepak, and I have been given the honor of being your new account representative. I am writing you this letter to explain the designs my firm drafted for your company. After taking many variables into consideration, these are the concepts we believe would symbolize Northway Management Guild well. Enclosed in this letter are the designs for the logo. Each logo designed focuses on three key factors: progressiveness, your northern location and the growth of your company. We look forward to your reaction to these designs so that our teams can work together to create a successful logo for Northway Management Guild, Inc. Logo One displays a general idea of your firm. The arrow pointing North gives customers an image of your companys location and the direction you want to head. Logo two has the same idea, but in addition to the arrow; its design provides a friendly image from the color combinations. The reason why these 2 designs are effective is because they give customers a sense of the direction theyll be taken in. Logo three, takes a more environmental approach. With the pine trees gives the customers an idea about the location since they are indigenous to that region. Also, the logo helps Northway exploit the more environmentally friendly consumer market. Logo four displays a star that appears to be taking off, this is effective because it shows, excellence, accomplishment and sophistication. Logo five has a similar design except that it allows for both approaches; bold abbreviations and full name presented with a star taking off. Furthermore, we will be extremely delighted to work with you in combining one logo feature with another. Please review the designs and feel free to give us your feedback. We will contact you at the beginning of next week to set up an appointment where we can review your thoughts about the logos and proceed from there. If you have any questions, please call me at the attached number or contact me via email. It would be a pleasure to discuss this material with you. Sincerely, Suresh Jes Deepak Account Representative,
