TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INDIA ANALOG MAKER

COMPETITION 2014
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
Study the circuit shown in the figure below and answer these questions.

PART 1 : ANALYTICS
Obtain an expression for Vo/Vs assuming an ideal opamp.
Write down the expression for Vo/Vs here:

COMPETITION 2014
PART 2 : SIMULATION
Assume that the OPAMP used in the figure is TL082. Use TINA software to simulate the
circuit and obtain its frequency response and square wave input response. (Plot the output
voltage (V0) for an input sine wave) Attach three graph sheets including the print-outs of
(a)Vin and Vo (b) Frequency response (c) Square wave response

PART 3: IMPLEMENTATION
Build the circuit shown in the figure on breadboard or on Analog System Lab Kit. Use a
function generator and an oscilloscope to obtain frequency response and square wave
response (use a square wave input of an appropriate frequency and amplitude). Attach
three graph sheets including the print-outs of (a)Vin and Vo (b) Frequency response
(c)Square wave response
