Garl Vinland and Maiden Astraea Dialogue

During the first cutscene after you pass through the fog:

Astraea:

“Go forth, Garl Vinland.”

“May you be unharmed.”

After her health bar appears and her music theme starts playing:

Astraea:

“Leave us, slayer of Demons.”

“This is a sanctuary for the lost and wretched.”

“There is nothing here for you to pillage or plunder”

“Please, leave quietly.”

If you choose to kill Maiden Astraea first, she will say the following as her
health bar decreases:

“This is our home. We have done no harm to you.”

“Dear God, have mercy. Is not your abandonment of us punishment enough? How
long must we weather this cruel fate?”

“Cruel Lord… What more can you possibly take from us?”

“Dear Lord… You are too cruel. You have abandoned us, is that not punishment
enough?”

If you choose to kill Garl Vinland first,

When you move within his range:

“You will not turn back , will you?”

“I shall let no harm come to dearest Astraea.”

“May you rot in the deepest depths of this swamp.”

After you deplete some of his health:

“How dare you persist in intruding upon our haven.”

“You abandoned us long ago. What right do you have?”

“We live humble lives. Leave us be!”

When you kill him:

“Dearest Astraea…I have failed you.”

If you talk to Maiden Astraea before you kill Garl Vinland (Good luck with
that):

“Please, leave quietly... Lest you face the wrath of my loyal follower.”

If you talk to Maiden Astraea after the death of Garl Vinland :

“You… You killed him, didn’t you?”

“Very well, I can no longer resist you.”

“Do as you like. Take your precious Demon soul.”

If you fall down to the swamp while you’re within Garl’s range:

“Plunge to your death... And let the acid melt the flesh from your bones.”

If you die while Garl Vinland is still alive:

“Ye covetous ones, let it be known. We shall defend our heart and home to the
death.”
