Technical Trainings:
Caterpillar Systems Training and Engineering Mentoring Program(C-STEM):
Successfully completed four week C-STEM training, becoming proficient in product
lifecycle management tools used within EDC.
Gained proficiency in DAT-K through class room training and sample exercises.
Attended class room training on various methods used for tolerance stack up
analysis with focus on 1-Dimensional tolerance stack up.
Knowledge of sheet metal design and modelling and detailing of parts and
assemblies.
Projects:
Currently working on project which aims to communize track drills and excavators
with a team of three engineers from EDC-I and solely responsible of dealing with
the complete layout of the machine.
Worked on comparative study of Caterpillar Track Drills with its competitors with
respect to its features and functionality.
Responsible for understanding the technical aspects of projects within Mining
Design Section and documenting them under the guidance of Kannan
Rangaramanujam, the technical specialist for MDS. Completed documenting 8
projects and currently documenting 4 more projects.
Assisted the lead engineer in developing concept designs for protection of bore end
of arm cylinder.

Bachelors Thesis Project

Lead and successfully completed project on Static and Dynamic Analysis of
Connecting Rod of Cummins NTA 885 BC engine under the guidance of Dr.
L.A.Kumaraswamidhas, Associate Professor, Department of Mining machinery
Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad
Computed the design life, factor of safety of connecting rod and various regions
prone to failure during static analysis and dynamic analysis using FEM analysis.
