Math Business Final

Project
Your Challenge: You will create a
business, complete with finances and
marketing. At the end of the year,
you will present your business in a
Tradeshow!

Components:
1. Measurement and Geometry
Component: Design a 3D model of
your business using Sketch-Up. In
addition to your model, you will
include the components of a map (scale; legend or labels etc.),
as well as the area and perimeter of your business.

2. Number Sense Component: You will create a budget for your
business using your knowledge of decimals, money,
subtraction and addition. You will present this budget formally
in a chart generated on the Microsoft Word or Excel.

3. Data Management Component: Create a circle graph to
represent your budget and spending. Use Microsoft Excel to
generate a circle graph.

4. Literacy Component: You will answer the three questions
provided by the SBEC to describe your business. This will be
typed; 12 point font; at least 500 words).

5. Media Literacy and Marketing Component: You will include
your marketing materials, such as an advertisement or radio
advertisements. You must provide as least one marketing

presentation persuading your investors to invest money in your
company.
