APPENDIX LIST OF WORKS Piano Works Solo Piano The Following alphabetical, cross-referenced listing of Albéniz’ works for solo piano makes no claim to complete- ness, Albéniz himself could not list all his early piano pieces; in fact, he had to check with his publisher to see if he had used the title Jerez before naming the eleventh Most estimates of the number of published piece in Iperia.! piano works by Albéniz are in the neighborhood of about 250, but Warlieve says that there were 500, Van Vechten betwoon 500 and 600, ang Villar 900. many titles are dupliceted, and the same work sometimes appears under either the same or a different title in different collections, Opus numbers are not trustuorthy guides to chronology.
