LIST OF WORKS
Piano Works
Solo Piano
The Following alphabetical, cross-referenced listing
of Albéniz’ works for solo piano makes no claim to complete-
ness, Albéniz himself could not list all his early piano
pieces; in fact, he had to check with his publisher to see
if he had used the title Jerez before naming the eleventh
Most estimates of the number of published
piece in Iperia.!
piano works by Albéniz are in the neighborhood of about 250,
but Warlieve says that there were 500, Van Vechten betwoon
500 and 600, ang Villar 900. many titles are dupliceted,
and the same work sometimes appears under either the same or
a different title in different collections, Opus numbers are
not trustuorthy guides to chronology. In this list of approx-
imately 140 pieces, keys and publishers are given, when known,
with the mein entry pertaining to the work.
