Summary
Our group purpose is to build a observatory on the moon by using our passions. Our
passions are being professionals at computer science, engineering, game designer and mechanical
engineer. This mission would help us develop our skills to those professions. Our mission is to find a
suitable planet that is identical to Earth.

Statement of Problem
There are many reasons why this mission has to happen. One reason is that our planet is
starting to be unlivable because of global warming. Scientists are saying in the years between 2050 and
2100, Earth will be in a huge drought. During the drought, humans will go extinct because of
dehydration.

Objectives

Science
In space we'll learn more about the planets around us. We will research if the planet is

livable or not. We will also study the psychics on the moon if we can. We will use the science on Earth
to tell the difference on the moon. We will also collect various items on the moon and study them back
at Earth.

Exploration
To find a planet just like ours, we will need to explore the solar system. Building an

observatory on the moon could help us look inside the planets we already know and even find unknown
planets. In the mean time, while were on the moon we can investigate what is on it.

Technology
Technology is a huge part of on this mission. If the technology on Earth is advanced,

then it'll be easier to locate some planets. Also we need the technology to help us live there for 5 years.
We will also need a very advanced telescope that can see farther than most telescopes do. During this
mission, technology will play a huge part in it.

Plan of Action
This mission will be very important to everyone. The mission will be us going into
space, building an observatory, researching planets and coming to back to Earth to discuss what we
have found. In this mission, we will design many things. Things like advanced telescopes, rockets and
computers. We will accomplish many things on this mission. We will gather new information and
maybe find a new planet. We may find all sorts of things, but we focus mainly on planets that is almost
similar to Earth.

Management Plan

700000000

184000000

1700000000

200000000

Shuttle
Launch
Food
Space suits
Resupply Ship
Observatory Building Cost
Mischellaneous

480000000
1592416
450000000

In this pie chart of the budget, we will show you how we are going to put your money into. The
shuttle will cost 1.7 billion dollars to build and it will cost 450 million to launch it. The food will cost
only 1.6 million and it will last us for 5 and a half years. The observatory will cost 184 million to build.
Resupply ships will cost 200 million. Space suits will cost 48 million. We will be using 700 million for
other supplies and needs. Overall the budget will cost 3 billion dollars

This is how our mission will work. First we will construct a rocket and go land on the
moon. For five and a half years will be building an observatory and researching planets. Between those
5 years, a resupply rocket will come and deliver us materials and supplies. We will come back to Earth
in late May and discuss the information we got on early June.

Proposals: October
Construction: early November
Initial Data Review: early December
Trace path of mission: 5 and a half years
Return to Earth: late May
Mission Debrief: early June

Conclusion
For this mission, we will need 3 billion dollars in order to do it. We will build an
observatory to locate planets. After we locate the planets, we will research them and see if they are
capable for us to live on. The reason why this mission needs to happen is because of global warming.
Global warming on planet Earth will cause many droughts and us humans will die by dehydration. In
order to conduct this mission, we will need money to be able to save human lives.
