Objective:
You will be able to discuss Hitlers dictatorship and how he gained power through the power of
persuasion and the use of Propaganda. You will better understand the importance of public
speaking and be able to point out reasons why Hitler was such an excellent public speaker.

Topic:
Sharing his ideals on politics, anti-Semitism, capitalism, and communism.

Directions:
1. Research and view numerous speeches made by Hitler via you tube.
2. Research different public speaking and speech writing techniques to help in preparing
your speech.
3. Provide a final copy of your speech to be graded, be sure to include references and
resources used to complete your assignment. Also record the videos and web pages used
for your research.
4. Present your speech to the class, I suggest using note cards.

Assessment:
Prepare a 3- minute speech describing how influential public speaking was for Hitler, and how
he used his ability to influence others to obtain full power over an entire country.
You will receive up to 50 points for your research and the final copy of your speech and up to
another 50 points for the delivery of your speech.

Objective:
You will be able to discuss Hitlers dictatorship and how he gained power through the power of
persuasion and the use of Propaganda. You will better understand the impact he had on the youth
of Germany, better known as Hitlers youth.

A class discussion about the kind of impact Hitler made on the youth of Germany, compared to
others in America.
Topic:
A group of Hitlers youth and Americas youth discuss the differences in their idols and the
public figures they look up to and why.

Directions:
1. Research the impact that Hitler had on the youth of Germany.
2. Research and find at least one example of an American that had the same, or somewhat
comparable kind of impact on Americas youth in the last 50 years.
3. Record your research for notes, you will need them as we will be having a class
discussion.

careful and smart about what you choose.
Assessment:
Be prepared to have a class discussion, be knowledgeable and be able to back up your ideas,
thoughts, and opinions.
You will be graded based on your participation in discussion and on the content of your rationale.

Topic:
You describe specifically how Hitler used the power of persuasion and propaganda to take over
Germany, start a Holocaust, and become the sole dictator of a country for a little over a decade.

Directions:
1. Perform any other useful research to complete your assignment.
2. Create an outline containing an Introduction and Conclusion. At least two main ideas
which support your topic with at least three examples of each that support your ideas and
research for each main idea.
3. Do not forget to include your references, and resources, be sure to include this in your
outline for you are being graded on it.
4. When article is ready post it on the classroom website in the blog by the due date.
