INTRODUCTION

A comparative study on consumer buying behaviour towards


HALDIRAMS project and other local sweets mar6t with reference ot
Gondia city is discussed in the project. Haldirams is one of the Indias
largest sweets and snacks manufacturers. The company consist of sweets
like Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Soan Papdi, Royal celebration
etc. The project will be made after detail discussion with the company
parameter i.e. of consumer buying behaviour of sweets.

COMPANY PROFILE
Haldiram's is a major Indian sweets and snacks manufacturer based in
Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The company has manufacturing plants in
Nagpur, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bikaner. Haldiram's has its own retail
chain stores and a range of restaurants in Nagpur and Delhi. In
contemporary times, Haldiram's products are exported to several
countries worldwide, including Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, United
States, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, Japan,
Thailand and others.

OBJECTIVES
To study demographic characteristic respodence.
To study the different factor affecting buying behavior of the
consumer.
To study the consumer perception about Haldirams sweets.
To analysis the relationship of demographic characteristic and
buying behavior of consumer.
To compare market share of Haldiram sweets and other local
sweets.

HYPOTHESIS
The buying behavior of the consumer is independent of their
personal background.
The awareness level about Haldirams sweets than local sweets is
comparatively low.
The distribution and awailability of Haldirams sweets is the factor
affecting its sales.
Market share of Haldirams sweets is less than local sweet mart.

Table, Graphs, Charts and Stastical methods will be used for
analyzing the data.
