Using Active Voice and Passive Voice (Rules 3 d, e)

Exercise A On the lines provided, rewrite each of the following sentences, changing the
italicized verbs from passive voice to active voice. To make this change, place the performer of
the action before the verb as its subject. If the performer of the action is not mentioned, leave the
sentence as it is and write C for correct.
EXAMPLE
1. A delicious aroma was sent through the house by the baking lasagna. ______________________
