Exercise A On the lines provided, rewrite each of the following sentences, changing the
italicized verbs from passive voice to active voice. To make this change, place the performer of
the action before the verb as its subject. If the performer of the action is not mentioned, leave the
sentence as it is and write C for correct.
EXAMPLE

1. The Cathedral of Hagia Sophia was admired by everyone in our


tour group. Everyone in our tour group admired the Cathedral of
Hagia Sophia.
