Mr. Erlandson is a very organized teacher

Jan 14, 2013 11:30 AM

He comes to class prepared.

Jan 14, 2013 11:25 AM

Mr. Erlandson uses a lot of information outside of the textbook which is helpful especially considering the subject because
information changes drastically over time.

Jan 14, 2013 11:24 AM

He seems to be organized but he hands labs back a month later

Jan 14, 2013 11:24 AM

The course is well organized and we learn a lot during a class period.

Jan 14, 2013 11:23 AM

He is always prepared with good technology and varying ways of teaching us.

Jan 14, 2013 11:22 AM

No complaints

Jan 14, 2013 11:22 AM

I really enjoy the class and Mr. Erlandson is a good teacher.

Jan 14, 2013 11:21 AM

Our tests are sometimes out of the scope of information that we have learned or covered.

Jan 14, 2013 11:21 AM

10

Mr. Erlandson is always well prepared for class and knows how to use class time effectively.

Jan 14, 2013 11:21 AM

11

Class time is used effectively

Jan 14, 2013 11:21 AM

12

Very good. Clear he has taught it for years and knows exactly what he is doing

Jan 14, 2013 11:20 AM

13

We learn things from the book and in class but then our test is on complete random stuff.

Jan 14, 2013 11:20 AM

14

Mr. Erlandson is a nice guy defnitely understanding

Jan 14, 2013 11:31 AM

He's very fair.

Jan 14, 2013 11:25 AM

Mr. Erlandson is good about moving things when students have a lot of work around the original due date and adjusting
assignments to make the work load easier.

Jan 14, 2013 11:25 AM

Mr Erlandson will never admit to being wrong but when I see him for extra help he is very helpful and understanding I feel
though that we should look at less pictures and take more notes in class

Jan 14, 2013 11:25 AM

The teacher and student relationship is great

Jan 14, 2013 11:25 AM

It is often the quirky moments in class when a pun or joke is made that helps me to understand or remember the material
better.

Jan 14, 2013 11:24 AM

Mr. Erlandson treats all students fairly and has a good sense of humor.

Jan 14, 2013 11:24 AM

He's a nice guy.

Jan 14, 2013 11:23 AM

I feel as if I can raise many questions in this class

Jan 14, 2013 11:23 AM

10

Page 4, Q2. Please use the space below to make additional comments on the expertise of the teacher.

Very knowledgeable

Jan 14, 2013 11:32 AM

The teacher uses a variety of teaching methods and has a very good knowledge of the subject. However, I feel as though
tests are too hard with too many important questions (Worth a lot of points) on the test coming from topics we did not
spend nearly enough time on in class. Also often many of the topics we discussed extensively in class are barely even
featured on the test

Jan 14, 2013 11:29 AM

Class is good.

Jan 14, 2013 11:26 AM

Mr. Erlandson is very knowledgable, however he doesn't always like to admit when he isn't sure of an answer.

Jan 14, 2013 11:26 AM

Mr Erlandson is not flexible and his tests are brutal and lab reports extremely difficult. Also his feeback isn't great

Jan 14, 2013 11:26 AM

THe expertise of teacher is good and he knows a lot about the subject.

Jan 14, 2013 11:26 AM

Itis the variety of teaching methods that makes Enviro so much easier to understand. Presenting the same material in
two different ways also helps with remembering the concept.

Jan 14, 2013 11:26 AM

Mr.Erlandson knows this material extremely well

Jan 14, 2013 11:24 AM

He's a good teacher in my opinion.

Jan 14, 2013 11:23 AM

10

His comments are often vague and unhelpful yet he seems passionate about this course.

Jan 14, 2013 11:23 AM

11

Again he clearly has taught it before and really enjoys teaching the class. Does it well too.

Jan 14, 2013 11:23 AM

12

The teacher makes completely arbitrary tests on things we haven't covered at all. His teaching within the class does not
cover what will be on the tests - the class is harder than it has to be because the teacher doesn't explain concepts
effectively or clearly.

Jan 14, 2013 11:23 AM

13

He is very professional but still effective and entertaining at the same time

Jan 14, 2013 11:22 AM

14

I think he could maybe take more time to explain key concepts if they are to appear frequently on the tests

Jan 14, 2013 11:21 AM

15 of 16

Page 5, Q4. Include any additional comments.

Questions on tests don't usually relate too much to what we did in class. Encourages us to think about questions but
mostly rewards intelligence and thinking rather than studying and work

Jan 14, 2013 11:33 AM

While I understand why the text is broken into the sections it is, they are often overly long taking up to an hour or more for
even the smallest text. Otherwise, this class is so much fun and genuinely one of my favorites

Jan 14, 2013 11:28 AM

Although difficult, the class is good and Mr. Erlandson is very helpful.

Jan 14, 2013 11:27 AM

Overall a rewarding class
