Begin work on Bell Ringer assignment as soon as you enter the room.
Your seat must be in your assigned seat when the tardy bell rings.
Raise hand for teacher acknowledgement before speaking.
Respect the personal space and property of others.
Be engaged from tardy bell to dismissal bell.
You are to be respectful.
1. Respect Yourself. Concern yourself with your own actions, do your work and have it
in on time.

2. Respect Others. This includes peoples feelings and personal property. As a young
adult you must learn that there will always be someone you must answer to, whether it is
your boss, a teacher, or your parents.
No disrespectful behavior will be tolerated. It will earn you a one way trip to office.
Cell Phones
Do not text or make a phone call in my classroom. I will take your phone and write
you up immediately. I forgot is no excuse.
Remind 101
Text: @mrsmacus to 81010 and you will receive updates and reminders about class.
Bathroom Policy
Each student will receive three (3) bathroom passes per nine weeks. No exceptions will
be made except for in extreme circumstances determined by teacher discretion. If you have a
problem, bring me a doctors note.
Tardy Policy
I will close the door when the bell stops ringing. If you are not in a seat, you are late.
Each tardy will result in a discipline referral.
Absentee Policy
If you are absent, you will have the number of days you were absent +1 to complete and
turn in any work that you missed. Any work not turned in on time will receive a 0 (zero). Unless
it is a planned absence, in which case you need to see the teacher ahead of time to get your work.
If you are absent on test day, you will take the test the day you return.
Assignments
NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED!!!!
You are in high school. Be responsible and turn your work in on time. If you are going to
be absent and you know ahead of time (i.e. vacation or any extracurricular activity), so that you
can get your work before you leave. You will not receive extra time and you cannot afford to get
behind. You will receive a 0 (zero) for any work not turned in on time.
All work is to be turned into the assigned drawer. Draws are cleaned out every day.
