Jaipur: In a shocking lack of concern, Hawa

Mahal, the 213-year-old iconic monument, was
washed with fire tender jets damaging its pink
signature paint. The Rajasthan government did
this as a part of its cleanliness drive before the
Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas.
The heritage structure now wears a faded look
and experts now believe that the damage is
irreparable.
