Students access courses through the internet
in school and at home
All work is completed and submitted online
Up to 25 students per class:
Participate in class discussions
Use web tools to gather and share resources
and ideas
Collaborate on group projects

Course Levels, Commitment & Credit


Time commitment by course level

Standard level = 6 - 8 hours per week


Honors level = 8 - 10 hours per week
Advanced Placement = 10 - 12 hours per week
Credit Recovery = 6-10 hours per week

VHS Credit
Half (.5) credit for a semester course (15 weeks)
One full (1.0) credit for a full year course (36
weeks with 3 week break)
