simplified manual computation of square root of a given number..

ex. √10

3 1 6 2 2
√10 00 00 00 00
9
A>>> 1 00
61
'39 00
B >>>> '3756
'144 00
'12644
1756 00
'126484
'49116

get the highest square root of 10,,so 3 is the highest number, bec. 3x3=9
add two zeros to the rightside, initially never mind the decimal point
then 10-9=1 and then bring down two zeros.
multiply 3 by the constant number 20, thus,
3 x 20=60
then 60 + 1 =61 I chose 1 because it is the largest number when we also multiply 61 by 1
61x1=61 if I chose 2 , it is over than 100 (see raw mark A),,60+2=62,: 62x2=104,
note; the number you add must be the number you multiplied with.
so therefore the 1st decimal place number Is 1,
same solution/pattern, follow above.

this time the multiplicand is (31) 31 x 20 = 620

620+6 =626 (largest number)
626 x 6 3756 (jot down, see raw mark B
so the 2nd is 6, (bec. It found to be the highest/largest number.)
then 3900-3756=144

want 3 decimals places?? >> same above

now >>> 316 (as I've said initially never mind decimal point)

316 x 20 6320
try 2 so that , 6320+2 =6322
6322 x 2 =12644 jot down under 14400
same solution if more decimal places required.

so the square root of 10 is 3.16

summary: multiply by 20 then add the largest number to the product then multiply the sum by the same number you obtain
r, bec. 3x3=9

when we also multiply 61 by 1

ark A),,60+2=62,: 62x2=104,
mber you multiplied with.

y the same number you obtained.
