Concept Map: Bubbl.us: This activity will show the outline and major parts of the lesson
that will be taught so that students will have a general idea about the lesson.
Presentation: Prezi: This activity will include the new words, the usages of them in simple
sentences and the pictures of these words. While students have the flashcards in their
hands, this presentation will be on the board.
Flashcards: StudyBlue: These will help students to understand the meanings of the
words they learn. Moreover, the pictures of the words in these flashcards will help
students to learn permanently.
Gap fillings: This activity will help students to learn the usages of the words in different
forms such as plural or singular by using them in different sentences.
Vocabulary Games: This activity will motivate students to learn the new words. By
playing funny educational games, students will practice these words without being
bored.
Puzzles: This activity will provide students retention of the new vocabulary items.
Reading short and simple stories: This activity will contribute to teach correct
pronunciations of the new words in a context instead of repeating these words again and
again.
Individual Learning Activities
Students will do the gap fillings, puzzles and
read the stories individually.
Group Learning Activities

Students will be divided into 2 groups in the

vocabulary game activity, and they will


learn cooperatively.
Summary
The teacher starts with the concept map that gives students an overview about what
they will learn at the beginning of the lesson. Then the teacher distributes the flashcards
to students, and opens the presentation on the board. Students study new words
through these cards in their hands, and analyze the sentences on the board in company
with the teacher. After this study, students do the gap fillings activity. If help is needed,
the teacher helps students. After a fifteen minute break, the teacher reads three short
and simple stories including the new words. The teacher completes the lesson with a
vocabulary game in which students form two groups, and try to answer the questions
first. At the end of the lesson, the teacher gives students a homework that is a puzzle
including new words and their pictures.

A quiz based on the presentation and flashcards and a body diagram with the blanks will
be given to the students.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher greets the students, and informs them about
the lesson by showing the concept map that states an overview about the body parts.
Then the teacher distributes the flashcards to students, and opens the presentation on
the board at the same time- If there is a problem with the computer, the teacher will
have the hardcopies of the presentation pages- Students study new words and their
pictures through these cards in their hands, and analyze the sentences on the board in
company with the teacher. After this study, students do the gap fillings activity
consisting of simple sentences related to the body parts. If help is needed, students can
ask for the teachers help.

the new words. While reading, he emphasizes the new words by showing these parts on
his body. Then he wants students to reread these stories to teach the correct
pronunciations of the words.
