Between Hinduism and Islam

Both religions believe that god is the ultimate


being of the universe
Hinduism

Islam

Both believe that god is the creator of all living


creatures and is the cause faithful law.

Islam

In Islam their Allah (god) is known by 99 names and


the Brahman (god) of Hinduism is known by many
names as well.

Both know that god always responds to the prayers


and desires of his devotees and grants them with
peace, knowledge, success and happiness.

Both believe in moral responsibility of each


individual towards the others.

Islam

Hinduism believes in the law of Karma. Islam believes


in that good deeds are given rewards and bad deeds
are given punishment.

Both believe in non-violence and non killing of


the human life.

Both religions believe not to respond to evil and


follow with their good deeds.

Dissimilarities
Between Hinduism and Islam

Islam

Hindus do worship one god but in many different forms. Some worship other forms of the Brahman as the
supreme god. They follow several scriptures and follow
several saints and seers.
A person becomes Hindu either by birth or by personal choice and doesnt need to confirm his faith in any
messenger or particular god.
Hinduism believes in the law of karma and Hindus seek forgiveness through priests.
Hinduism considers life in heaven and hell as transitory.
A soul regains independence forever only through selfrealization.
Hinduism does not have prophet and messengers but
gurus, seers, sages, and divinities that pass on the
revelations of God to the mankind.
Hinduism law are in portions, some are religious the rest
are government law.
Hinduism believe to see no difference between man and
other beings.

Hinduism recognizes countless worlds and planes of


existence; god is all these and no one can truly
understand his worlds.

They believe in nothing but Allah (their god), they


consider him as the supreme good and they follow only
Quran (their handbook)
When a person converts to Islam by declaring faith in the
supremacy of Allah and to accept Muhammad as his
messenger.
Islam believe a man is born pure and free of sin by Allah
and will remain as long as they follow his law and
worship him and avoiding evil.
Islam does not believe in rebirth, but only resurrection
and the Last Judgment Day.

Islam believes to be faithful to Allah and Allah only unlike


Hinduism.

The Muslim law that is versed in the Quran, is to punish


those who disobeys the commands of Allah.
Islam believe that man can only be the true follower and
believer of god and the other creatures of the world was
created to benefit man.
The Islamic cosmology consists of Heaven, Hell and
Earth.
