KIMS Sports Fest 15 Rules and Regulations

Sports included in the event:


1) Badminton
- Singles for both boys and girls
- Mix doubles
2) Cricket: Boys only
3) Futsal: Boys only

Badminton:
Each institute can send 2 participants for singles and one team for mixed doubles.
The participants playing for singles will not be allowed to play in the doubles. Each
game will be of 3 sets, with each set of 11 points.

Cricket: (Tape Ball)


Each institute can send 1 team of 8 participants out of which 6 will be playing on the
field: other 2 will be substitutes. The match will consist of 5 overs only. Each bowler
will be allowed to bowl a maximum of 2 overs. Other rules and regulations
concerning the match will be set and told before the match starts.

Futsal:
Each institute can send 1 team of 10 participants out of which 7 will be playing on
the field: the other 3 will be substitutes. A 30 minute match with a 15 minute half
will be played.

Table Tennis:
Each institute can send 2 participants for singles and one team for mixed,
boys
and girls doubles. The participants playing for singles will not be allowed to play in
the mix doubles but can play in boys and girls doubles.

Throw Ball:
Each institute can send 1 team with 9 participants, out of whom 7 will be on the field:
other 2 will be substitutes. A match will consist of 3 sets. A team can take 2 timeouts of 30 seconds each during a set. The first team to score 15 points wins a set.

Tug of War:
An all-boys institute can send 1 team of 8 participants. An all-girls institute can send
a team of 7 participants. A game will be of 3 sets; the best of three will win. An
official referee will supervise the war.

Gaming:
1. Counter Strike 1.6 (PC)
Each institute can send only 1 team only, consisting of 5 members. The first team to
win 2 out of 3 maps (1 map = 11 rounds) wins. The players can bring their own
mouse (computing devices). Personal keyboards, however, will not be allowed. No
comebacks, this will be a knockout tournament.
2. FIFA 15: (Xbox)
Each institute can send only 2 players. Only club matches will be allowed.
3. Black Ops 2; Grief Mode: (Xbox)
Each institute can send only 2 players.
No screening will be allowed. No kind of misconduct or argument will be tolerated.
Violating the rules will result in disqualification.

Foosball
Each institute can send only 1 player. 3 sets will be played with 10 points each
set.

Snooker
Each institute can send only 1 player. 1 frame will be played.

Important guidelines for participants


Participants are required to bring along their School ID card for identification
purposes. Anyone who fails to do so will NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART
IN THE SPORTS.
An official referee will be supervising the matches. The referees decision will
be deemed final. No kind of misconduct or argument will be tolerated.
Violation of rules will result in disqualification.

Participants will be informed in due course about the dates, timings and
venues of their respective matches.
All Head Delegates are expected to make sure that their teams follow the
rules set by the event management.
One participant can participate in maximum 2 sports.
Each institute can send a maximum of 10 supporters. The names of all
supporters (along with their photo IDs) must be given on the online form.
There are strict rules against smoking during the event.
Full media coverage will be provided.
No DSLRS, digital or video cameras are to be carried.

A closing ceremony will be held on the last date of the event, details of which will be
disclosed later.
