PROJECTS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

University of Idaho South Campus Chiller Plant System: Map the states and efficiencies of the plant
itself using knowledge I have gathered from classes like Fluids, Thermo energy system, heat transfer, and
Economics.
3-D Modelling of Car Engine: Designed a 3-D modeled of an old car engine as part of a team project.
Utilized Solid works program to perform FEA analysis to verify that our model was correct.
Design of Laser Arm: Designed a laser arm that wrote numbers from 1-10 with a team of five students.
Developed a device that would engrave internal production codes onto a part such that they are removed by
the final finishing process in Boeing's Skin and Spar manufacturing facility. Mastered the ability to control
the depth of the engraving with a high degree of precision. Completion of this project was done by a three
part process of Designing, Manufacturing, assembling and Safety.
Heated Driveway Thermal System: Designed a thermal energy system that heated a driveway during
winter months. Selected, modelled, and determined the layout of the heating tubes, heat transfer fluid, and
mechanics as part of a team. Some considerations included working with pump(s), heat exchanger(s), and
energy source(s) of the system and reasonable estimate of initial cost of the system.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS
