EPM office Add in Excel

Reports -Reports reads data from Data base BW, Based on selections
Input Form -Reads data from the Data base BW, and also writes data back to Data base.
Postings in BPC happen via Input Forms or Journals
EPM office add in excel has 2 additional add ons namely EPM and Data Manager.
EPM context displays all the dimensions of the connected model. and also it displays one more
additional dimension namely measures which is used to capture Periodic or YTD values.
Reports are created in EPM add on.
Data Loading is done in Data Manager add on.
EPM contains active connection details (Environment and Model) and also the number of Report and its
details, Dimension List, Page axis, Row Axis, Column Axis.
Variance is calculated by Local Member Formula or Via EPM function(Insertcallbeforeafterblock)
There are 4 ways of creating a report by EPM pane, by New Report, By Member Recognition, By EPM
Functions.

While building a report make sure all dimensions in the EPM context are updated to Base members
since Data cannot be posted to any parent.
