Lisa was a student in my class in the spring of 2014. The Pediatric component of the ADN program is fast paced and intense and covers complex ‘medical and surgical conditions in children from birth to adolescence. Lisa met all course expectations and performed successfully in class. She was able to apply theory and demonstrate critical thinking abilities and understanding of the nursing process. She (along with colleagues) conducted a health education class for children which was well received. Lisa also has a pleasant and positive attitude and it was enjoyable to have her in class. She was eager to acquire nursing knowledge and was fully engaged in her learning process. | was also her clinical instructor during the pediatric component. Lisa was competent in providing total care to complex patient assignments. It was a pleasure to have Lisa Chee as a student in my course.
