    So no, the rich can not live


    without the poor. In a capitalist society is a dependence between them. Rich people make their
    fortune on the poor people and the rich are the ones that create jobs, provide servicies and
    grow the economy. Inequality is part of Capitalism. but Communism and socialism
    encourages economic equality but this equality also gives too much power to a few
    government elites which they usually become corrupt. So in every socitety are poor and rich
    people and they cac not exist without each other
