Monastery Community Project Reflections

Reflections Blog Post Individually, please write a blog post answering the following questions. Post the blog in the community category. Be sure to
write each post according to the minimum number of words required. Record your responses using professional writing free
of spelling, grammatical, and mechanical errors. This assignment, when completed with professionalism and care, will be a
lovely resource as you begin to assemble your portfolios in the future.

Question One : 200 words

What was your design concept? How was it translated in 3D? Was this effective? What changes could you make based on
reflection or feedback?

The users in this project were situated in a unique cultural and socio-economic context...how did your assigned space within
the monastery respond to African and Monastic cultural traditions and lifestyles?

Thinking about color harmonies that you learned in ID 263, how did you apply color in the monastery, especially in your
assigned space? How did color affect the user experience in this space? Are there any changes or adjustments you would
make to color application in this project after receiving feedback? Why are these changes important?

Think about your project as a whole. What were some strengths and weaknesses regarding research, conceptual
development, execution, presentation, time management? Reflect on what you have learned from this experience and state
some ideas of how you can apply what you have learned to future projects.
