Week Of: November 17 through November 21, 2014

Block Area
Monday: Michael will pair up with a peer to
create a restaurant.
Tuesday: Michael will pair up with a
different peer to create a house.
Wednesday: Michael will pair up with a peer
to create the Willis Tower.
Thursday: Michael will pair up with a peer
to create a circus.
Friday: Michael will pair up with a peer to
create railroad track.

Dramatic Play
Monday: Michael will pretend to be a chef in
the restaurant (with two different peers).
Tuesday: Michael will pretend to cook a
special dish for his mother and sister in his
house.
Wednesday: Michael will pretend to be a
security in the Willis Tower.
Thursday: Michael will pretend to juggle in
the circus.
Friday: Michael will pretend to be the train
operator.

Tools added: Zoo animals and trains.


Tools added: Pots, plates, spoons, Juggle balls
and a recycle box for the train operator.

Monday: Magnifying glass with
different rocks.
Tuesday- Blending tempera paints.
Wednesday- Water table play will add
food coloring (blue) and will add
emotional dolls.
Thursday- Moon sand (small group
activity).
Friday- Dissolving food coloring into
water ( small group activity)

Sand and Water


Monday- Moon sand and cookie shape
cutters.
Tuesday- Color sand with laminated career
people and construction trucks.
Wednesday- Moon sand with laminated face
expressions and rocks.
Thursday- Water table with alphabet letters
and shape toys.
Friday- Water table with different ocean
animals.

Writing Center
Monday- Pencils.
Tuesday- Markers.
Wednesday- Color pencils.
Thursday- Crayons.

Nutrition/ Cooking: 1 day/week


Friday will be a cooking day where the
child will experience creating brownies.
The children will focused on designing
an individual brownie by creating a face
expression on how they feel.

To Do or To Purchase: On Wednesday
go to the grocery store to purchase
brownie ingredients and brownie mix.
As well as frosting sticks to create their
face expression.

Family / Community Involvement:
Parents will be asked to volunteer on the activity on Wednesday by helping
children make the brownie mixture.
The parents will be invited to the Childrens Museum. The field trip to the
Childrens Museum will be held on Wednesday November 21, 2014.
