Friendliest Restaurant

Tims parents opened a restaurant for him and


made him the face of the company, because of his
passion for making people happy.
Tim was born with down syndrome. He exceeded
all expectations. He achieved homecoming king,
graduated college from Eastern New Mexico
University, achieved certificates in food service
and office skills, and now runs a successful
restaurant.

Comparing cases and making sure that we


are not treating people differently that are the
alike in relevant respects.

act ethically, and treat others the way they

decisions. Act as a

Positive View of Virtue Ethics

It could be viewed that hiring someone


disabled is the right thing to do.
If you were put in the same position, wouldn't
you want the same opportunity?
Passion is passion regardless of disability.

Negative View of Virtue Ethics

Is satisfying someone's dream worth hurting


the business?
Is it worth affecting the atmosphere of the
workplace, and other employees that would
have to work with this person.

Statistics

Employees with disabilities are the most loyal, and


reliable employees you can get.
Business owners should be patient and expect
extra training and helping people find what
position that they are best suited for.
Surveys show that customers attitudes were
overwhelmingly positive regarding people with
disabilities in the workforce.
People with disabilities are the largest minority in
the United States, totaling approximately 50
Million people with disabilities.
