The Holocaust was a persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime and
its collaborator. It comes from the Greek word sacrifice of fire. The Nazis came to
power in Germany in 1933, their leader Adolf Hitler. Kristallnacht, it means night of
the crystal, it was the night the Jews were taken away from their homes and forced to
move to concentrations camps.

It is a survey that finds underscore the serious lack of knowledge that exist in large
numbers of both adults and youth in the United States with regard to basic knowledge
about the Holocaust. The same battery of questions was asked in Great Britain and the
final scores are completely different as the ones of the United States, they found
somewhat greater awareness.

Adolf Hitler was the leader of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. He initiated World War
II and oversaw fascist policies that resulted in 6 millions of deaths. This website talks

Hitler, and it provides videos of Hitlers regime.

This article talks about how the Nazi doctor committed outrageous and shocking inhuman
practices with thousands of Jews in concentration camps. Doctors have always been
thought of as the saviors of mankind and the healers of civilization. This is why the
practice of medicine by the doctors of the Third Reich is egregious, outrageous, and
shocking. The Nazi doctors violated the trust placed in them by humanity. The most
painful truth is for the most part the doctors escaped their crimes against Humanity and
lived a life, unlike their victims.

This website of the United States Holocaust Museum talks about the Holocaust denial as
an attempt to negate the established facts of the Nazi murdered of European Jewry.
Common distortions include, for example, assertions that: the figure of six million
Jewish deaths is an exaggeration; the deaths in the concentration camps were the results
of disease or starvation but not policy; and that the diary of Anne Frank is a forgery.

This is a speech by Ruth Kluger that cites German Studies Review and talks about how
the Holocaust has changed our various perspectives of views. It has set new standards for
