At first when I was looking over this site, I thought this is just a really easy fun site for 3 rd thru 5th
grade students to use. I was surprised to see that this site was so educational. I played on the site for a
few minutes looking over the different tabs, and love how they include subjects such as art, music,
engineering, and technology. Upon further evaluation, using this worksheet, I have proven that this site is
awesome. It scored 98/100! I was surprised to see that this site is so thorough! It has a list of links to the
scientific papers that are used to keep it up-to-date. It also has a drop-down menu where a state and
subject can be chosen, then it will display what games/articles on the site that comply with the teaching
standards. I really like this site a lot. It is not so over-stimulating that you lose the real core values of
learning. There is also a junior website for grade K-3. I definitely recommend this website. Many teachers
are implementing work stations into their lesson plans. I think this would be a great website to allow
students to access during the computer station time to re-enforce what they are learning. Not only is it
accurate information, it provides a fun way to learn. I will definitely be using this website somehow in my
classroom.
