Teacher Activities: Guide Brainstorm
Student Activities: Map it: Students find their home country/town on a large
world map posted visibly in the classroom. Students will place a thumbtack on
the map representing where theyre from and connect a string from that spot to a
spot on the map that shows where they currently live (Each students string will
connect to the same spot, the city where the school is located.)

Students brainstorm adjectives that describe themselves/others.
