JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF LEGITIMATION
We, LLOYD RICHARD RUBIN and JACQUELINE RUBIN, both Filipinos, of legal
age, married and presently residing at Bacolod City, Philippines, having been duly sworn in
accordance with law, hereby depose and state that:
1. We have been legally married to each other on _____________ at a wedding ceremony
solemnized by _____________, duly recorded and registered with the Local Civil Registrar of
Iloilo City. A certified true copy of our marriage certificate is attached hereto and made an
integral part of this affidavit.

The afore-mentioned births of our common children were duly recorded and registered with the
Local Civil Registrar of Bacolod City. We acknowledge our status as father and mother of the
afore-mentioned children and attach herewith copies of the birth certificates of the afore-named

3.At the time of the conception of the above-named common children, we were not disqualified
by any impediment to marry each other, and, therefore, by virtue of our subsequent marriage, our
common children are now legitimated by operation of law, particularly Article 177 of the Family
Code.
4.We execute this affidavit to declare the truth of the foregoing facts.
