It is with great enthusiasm I request your consideration for a position as a special
education teacher within the Clark County School District. As a graduate of Nevada
State College with a B.A. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special
Education, I am interested in utilizing my skills and knowledge to teach elementary
age students. As a highly compassionate teaching professional, I am confident in my
ability to become a valuable member of your teaching staff.
I completed my student teaching at Hinman Elementary School with excellent
reviews. Seeing students excited about learning was truly inspiring. Creating
interactive lessons and reflecting on them to better suit the needs of the students
was a very valuable experience. Prior to my student teaching I was a substitute for
CCSD for three years. During this time I subbed in grades K-12. During this time I
was list on the preferred substitute list for several schools.
I have always had a passion for education, a love for children and a desire to work
for the Clark County School District. In hiring me you would gain an individual who
is dependable, extremely motivated and very passionate about educating students.
A few of my strengths are classroom management, multitasking, and lesson
planning using Nevada Academic Content Standards. My character is always evident
and I am deeply committed to improving students lives.
