A= Analyze your Learners

As best you can tell, describe the learners for whom this lesson is intended.
What else do you think you would need to know about them?

The lesson plans are directed towards college level students in an entry
level art history class.

S = State your Objectives

Carefully review the lesson plan. Identify the objectives. If the lesson plan has
learning objectives that do NOT meet the ABCD criteria, rewrite them. you.. You
should have at least 3 learning objectives that meet the ABCD formula.
Remember, think Action Verbs!
A=Audience; B=Behavior; C=Condition and D=Degree.
Objective 1: (Objective is having students type notes during a lecture which is at Bloom's
Taxonomy level of knowledge. )
A. College entry level art history class.
B. Compare historical and cultural influences
C. Students are presented with examples and background information
within the presentation

S = Select Media and Materials

In this section, make a list of what materials are needed for this lesson plan. If
they don't specifiy any technology, think of how you might do that! Try to think of
two different things you or your students could do with technology.. Maybe you
can find a good multimedia site to use in this lesson? How about using word
processing instead of writing? You might be able to use a spreadsheet or
PowerPoint?

Materials needed for this lesson plan are:

Computer
power point
Puzzle from Puzzle Maker (will be provided)

U = Utilize Media and Materials

How are the materials used?

Students will be required to attend a 30 minute power point lecture I present on

the topic. Students will be required to type two pages of notes on the lecture
given. I will present a power point presentation on beginning art history showing
examples of artist and historical influences. Students will then complete a puzzle
from puzzle maker within 10 minutes and then proceeded to watch a 10 minute
video presented in class. Students will then use this information for Day two of
the lesson when completing a scavenger hunt and quiz.

R = Require Learner Participation

Explain what the students are doing. How will they use technology in this
lesson?

The students will use technology to complete a puzzle on puzzle maker. After
completing the puzzle, I will start a video relaying the information taught in the
lesson.

E = Evaluate and Revise

How do you assess student learning?

Evaluation will be based off of the students notes taken during the lecture and
video. Evaluation will also consist of the completion (75%) of the puzzle in the
given time frame.

Notes: Maybe have multiple puzzles for students to complete if they enjoy that
activity or incase I move through the lecture faster than intended
