Library Media Program Self-Evaluation Rubric

On October 27, Kim Spivey and I sat down to evaluate the library media program using the 2013 GLMA
& GLA Self-Evaluation Rubric. This instrument is intended to insure that the library media program is
meeting all requirements set out in state education laws, state board policies, state guidelines, and
selected National Standards. To complete the rubric, we gathered evidence showing how the media
center is performing in each category. In the table below, you will find a summary of the results. You will
also find actions steps to address any categories that were rated as basic or proficient. In the table,
B=basic, P=proficient, and E=exemplary.
