2009 Pewaukee Scholarship Fund

Recipients
PSF awarded $45,500 to thirty-six Pewaukee High School 2009
graduates.
Janel Alters, daughter of Wade and Janet Alters, is the recipient of a
Waterstone Bank Scholarship. She plans to major in biology at the University
of Wisconsin-Madison with hopes to become a forensic scientist.
Ben Bliss, son of Scott and Mary Bliss, is the recipient of the Lloyd Egre
Memorial Scholarship. He plans to attend UW-Madison and has an interest in
the business and technology and may pursue a career in actuarial science.
Leah Braunschweig, daughter of Lynn and Bill Braunschweig, is the
recipient of an American Legion Scholarship. She plans to major in
environmental biology at UW-La Crosse.
Corbin Brey, son of John and Barb Brey, is the recipient of the
QuadGraphics Scholarship. He will study visual arts at UW-Milwaukee.
Mikayla Callen, daughter of Edwin and Lori Callen, is the recipient of a PSF
Scholarship. She plans to study forensic science and will attend Carroll
University.
Kevin Cleary, son of Patrick and Marianne Cleary, is the recipient of a
Pewaukee Alumni Association Scholarship. He plans to pursue a career as an
oncologist and will begin his studies at UW-Madison.
David Czerwinski, son of Paul and Jackie Czerwinski, is the recipient of the
Stanek Tools Scholarship. He plans to major in industrial engineering at UWMadison.
Aaron Domack, son of Kevin Domack, is the recipient of a PSF Scholarship.
He plans to study science at UW-Madison.
Christina Evans, daughter of Harvey and Sherry Evans, is the recipient of a
Kiwanis Club Scholarship. She plans to major in either pre-pharmacy or premedicine and will attend Concordia University.
Anna Feller, daughter of David and Joanna Feller, is the recipient of the
Pewaukee Education Association Scholarship. She plans to major in
elementary education at Carroll University.

Jennifer Fisher, daughter of Susan and Donald Fisher, is the recipient of a


PSF Scholarship. She plans to major in psychology at Carroll University.
Tyler Frodl, son of Joseph and Dawn Frodl, is the recipient of the Pewaukee
Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. He plans to major in broadcast
journalism at UW-Oshkosh.
Amy Garvin, daughter of Thomas and Delores Garvin, is the recipient of the
Hans Wienss Memorial Scholarship. She will pursue a career in physical
therapy and plans to attend Carroll University.
Kristi Hammond, daughter of Doug and Kim Hammond, is the recipient of
the Pewaukee School District Administrators' Scholarship. She plans to
major in biology and environmental education at UW-Stevens Point.
Hailey Kamin, daughter of Kurt and Jill Kamin, is the recipient of the
Pewaukee Board of Education Scholarship. She will study nursing and
Spanish at Cardinal Stritch University.
Michelle Kammers, daughter of Brian and Susan Kammers, is the recipient
of a PSF scholarship. She will pursue studies at UW-Madison.
Abby Kommer, daughter of James and Amy Kommer, is the recipient of an
American Legion Scholarship. She plans to major in nursing at Carroll
University.
Charlotte Larkin, daughter of Rick and Carolyn Larkin, is the recipient of
the Cathy Schwager Memorial Scholarship. She plans to major in history and
political science at the UW-Madison.
Danielle Lenz, daughter of Donald and Sandra Lenz, is the recipient of the
Pewaukee Rotary Scholarship. She plans to major in environmental studies
at the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Kristin Magliocco, daughter of Jim and Dana Magliocco, is the recipient of
the Dorothy M. Brouwer Memorial Scholarship. She plans to study
biochemistry at UW-Madison.
Janelle Mikulice, daughter of Joyce Mikulice, is the recipient of a
Waterstone Bank Scholarship. She plans to attend UW-Milwaukee and major
in criminal justice.

Kenny Mischker, son of Patrick and Stacey Mischker, is the recipient of the
Robert Blask Honorary Scholarship. He will attend UW-Stout to study
construction management.
Holly Phelps, daughter of Tammy Phelps, is the recipient of a Pewaukee
Alumni Association Scholarship. She plans to major in applied economics at
UW-Whitewater.
Nicholas Pjevach, son of Michael and Lori Pjevach, is the recipient of the
Allen Anderson Memorial Scholarship. He will major in electrical engineering
at UW-Madison.
Maria Reuter, daughter of Tim and Marie Reuter, is the recipient of the
Gene Edgette Memorial Scholarship. She plans to study Spanish education at
UW-La Crosse.
Laura Roberson, daughter of Don and Carol Roberson, is the recipient of a
PSF Scholarship. She intends to major in biology at the UW-Madison.
Haylie Schroeder, daughter of Scott and Jaymie Schroeder, is the recipient
of the Margaret Schallitz Memorial Scholarship. Haylie will study biology
(with pre-med emphasis) and Spanish language at the University of Miami.
Holly Sheldon, daughter of Steven Sheldon, is the recipient of a PSF
scholarship. She plans to attend the University of Iowa-Iowa City.
Tara Sisco, daughter Michael and Deanna Sisco, is the recipient of the M.
Van Hulle Honorary PSF Scholarship. She plans to major in genetics at UWMadison.
Amy Slesar, daughter of Mark and Lori Slesar, is the recipient of a PSF
Scholarship. She plans to major in business or economics at the UWMadison.
Christian Sternke, son of Craig and JoAnn Sternke, is the recipient of a
PSF Scholarship. He will major in civil engineering at UW-Madison.
Brittany Strachota, daughter of Jeffrey and Mary Anne Strachota, is the
recipient of the Joseph Ryan Memorial Scholarship. She plans to study
engineering at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Massachusetts.
Taylor Swan, daughter of Brad and Cheryl Swan, is the recipient of the
John Tall Memorial Scholarship. She plans to attend UW-Madison to study
medicine.

Ka Tse, son of Wun Ha, is the recipient of a PSF Scholarship. He plans to


major in nuclear engineering at the UW-Madison.
Rebecca Wollenzien, daughter of William and Dawn Wollenzien, is the
recipient of a PSF Scholarship. She will study biomedical engineering at UWMadison.
Matthew Wysocki, son of Paul and Sandy Wysocki, is the recipient of a
Pewaukee Alumni Association Scholarship. He will major in computer science
at UW-Madison.
