EGYPT
As people started growing crops they began to lead a
settled life.
This led to the formation of villages and community life.
People now had spare time to do other things besides
farming.
They now also had plenty of time to think .
New ideas grew which led to the growth of civilizations.
This process happened a long time ago .
The word civilization means people living in a settled way,
well-planned cities language and writing , a set of rules for
the people , trade and craft, and religion and culture.

THE BRONZE AGE

There are four Bronze Age civilizations:
The Mesopotamian civilization near the rivers
Tigris and Euphrates.
The Egyptian civilizations near the river Nile.
The Harappan civilization near the rivers Indus
and Ravi.
The Chinese civilization near the river Huang
