    THE IMPACT OF RACE WITHIN THE


    CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM
    On October 17th, several hundred judges and commissioners, prosecutors, defense
    lawyers, probation officers, and others gathered at Marquette Universitys Varsity
    Theatre to have an open and honest discussion about the impact of race within
    the criminal justice system.
    Milwaukee County Circuit Court Chief Judge Jeffrey Kremers will present an
    overview of the event, contextual data on the criminal justice system, and an
    update on current efforts within the system to address this critical issue.
