worth in cold hard money?

The report titled "The Big Payoff" reveals that over
an adult's working life:

 High school graduates can expect, on average, to earn


$1.2 million;
 Bachelor's degree, $2.1 million;
 Master's degree, $2.5 million.
 Doctoral degrees earn an average of $3.4 million
during their working life,
Those with professional degrees do best at $4.4
million.

 45% more chance to get involve with drugs and
alcohol.

A separate report released last year said:
 Among people with
bachelor's degrees, those
working full time in
engineering earned the
highest average monthly
pay ($4,680),
 while those with
education degrees earned
the lowest ($2,802) in
1996.
The U.S. Census Bureau has released data proving
the substantial value of a college education.

 Workers 18 and over sporting bachelors


degrees earn an average of $51,206 a year,
 Those with a high school diploma earn
$27,915.
 Workers with an advanced degree make an
average of $74,602,
 And those without a high school diploma
average $18,734
