RE: HO#04 Standing Gravity Waves


This report aims to comment on the relevance of a two dimensional wave solutions in each case.

The first case models the water sloshing between two walls. The second one estimates the forces acting
between a mooring system of a proposed shallow water facility and a tanker. On the third one, the
objective is to design a better coffee cup, considering standing waves in circular basins.
