II. INTRODUCTION
Darius is a set of Horizontal Scrolling Shot'em up videogames created by Taito s
ince 1986.
The main feature that makes the Darius series atractive is the presence of bosse
s whose
take the form of acquatic life forms, regardless of class (fish, mammal, etc.),
except a few
exceptions (marked with an * in the table of contents. Each one of them has it's
