For your first session, use Practice Mode.
You must complete 10 questions per session.
Your goal is to earn blue ribbons. To get a blue ribbon in
a topic, you must answer 10 questions and get at least 7
correct.
After you answer all 10 questions, if you missed any, it
will give you the option to Go Through Missed. DO
THAT!
If you correct the ones you missed before ending the
session, it will help your session score!
In Study Island, DO NOT use the browsers back button. ONLY use Study Islands
navigation buttons. If you use the back button, the site wont record your work
properly.

If you scored a 60%, you will receive a
6/10, a 40% receives a score of 4/10 and
so on.

If you do not answer 10 questions in a
pathway, you will receive a 0%


If you get between 70% and 100% on
10 questions in a topic, you earn a
blue ribbon.

It will be entered into Sapphire as
10/10
Your overall score is cumulative (it averages all of your sessions
together).
If you score low on one or two sessions, it may lock you out of the topic
and assign a building block topic.
You must earn a white ribbon for the building block lesson (7 out of 10)
and then you can try the main topic again.
Note: I cannot give credit for building block topics, ONLY the main
topics in the pathway that I assign to you.
Building

You only need ONE SESSION OF 10 with a 70% or better
to earn a blue ribbon. Once you get that one session,
STOP. (dont do 100s of questions trying to get your
Overall score up) I can delete previous sessions so that
your overall score is at least 70%

K-mail me when you have done ONE
session of 10 and got 70% if the other
sessions are pulling your score down.

Each topic is due the last day of the month it is
assigned!! (After 2 quarters, you will not be
able to earn a grade for the topics, just like
your other assignments)
