FLOATABILITY:
: Easily oatable. Flotation is the normal method of concentrating these ores. Determination of the suitabale conditions and reagents should be simple and metal recoveries of over 90 % can be expected.
: Floatable. Further study will berequired to determine the otation conditions. Recoveries of the order of 80 % or more are probable
: Difcult to oat. Flotation on a commercial scale depends largely on the character of the ore; some gangue minerals can make satisfactory results impossible. Thorough study is required.
: Flotation may be possible in the laboratory but is uneconomical on commercial scale.
The above gradiation according to oatability is a generalization only; individual ores may present special problems.
