Learning outcomes are achieved if the learner can:
1. Describe what diferent hazards may occur on or around the road
2. Identify road signs demonstrating hazards
3. Explain how to aoid hazards while cycling

Lesson plan Hazards
Introduction$ %his module introduces the student to the potential hazards they may encounter on or around the road
while cycling. &nowledge and s#ills are introduced to help the student identify hazards and plan and prepare for
aoiding or managing these hazards. %here are a number of opportunities to practice strategies in a simulated and
safe enironment.
%he program is designed to scafold learning while 'tting in with the current curriculum and class time frames.
%imeframes for teaching are deliered within the curriculum of a standard !( minute lesson) with the addition of a
