Strategy Name Strategy # ___4___

Four Corners

Brief Description (in your own words):

Four Corners is a great way for students to have different approaches to a problem
using kinesthetic, visual, or verbal ways. The teacher can either describe or write
the question and give students 3 or 4 possible answers. They pick an answer to
choose from and talk with the others as to why they chose this answer. A
spokesperson is chosen and discusses their answer with the class.

How you plan to use this strategy in your Practicum, Internship, Student
Teaching, or in your own classroom:

I think this could be a great strategy for students to use in physical education
because you can do it for an activity or to help get the students to think about a
topic like health. If the lesson was on health, the students could use this strategy to
answer questions from the lesson. If there was an activity that day, the students
could use this strategy to become better problem solvers.
