a. How is immigration a problem for the EU?
Immigration is a problem for the EU for many reason. One reason is because Turkey is trying to
prevent refugee ships from reaching European countries like Greece or Italy. Plus, immigrations is
causing people to migrate illegally into European countries. Which also leads to a problem with
deporting people from the European countries. Most people are obligated to leave the country but are
unable to leave the country for some reason. Which leaves a problem for immigration because not every
is able to leave the country although they are obligated to be deported.
Also immigration is a problem in the EU because there is trade in immigrations which is agreed
for gangs to get a profit from. Sometimes women and children are forced into prostitution for these
gangs. And they are shipped off in a Ferris but are left undetected until they arrive where they are
planning to go. The funds are from criminal which are sometimes lead to terrorist funding. And
immigration has a negative on the EU's economy due to the fact that a lot of people are working but not
paying taxes. Which means the EU's state treasury does not receive as much money as they normally
do. Immigration is a problem that occurs in the EU that they should be worried about.

b. How are they dealing with this problem?
The Swedish government stated that they are not going to restrict the movement of
immigration through the borders when a new member joins the EU. European Union act that allows all
members freedom of movement within member states Although they are not going to restrict it but will
regulate the movement of immigration. The British, French and the Germans have called for tighter
border controls with non-European member states coming in the European Nations. British government
suggested having immigration and asylum centre's outside the European Union
If this happens it will help reorganize more fairly the number of immigrants in Europe. They have
a Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, and Spain calling for the rest of Europe to share out the burden of asylum
seekers and irregular migrants who arrive there by sea. But they cannot stop the people from coming in.
Although they can report the people who are illegal immigrates and possible deport them. The
European Nations are very skeptical of the people that come into the European nations. So the
European Nations are keeping an eye out for the illegal immigrations.
