INFORMING FRAMEWORKS

Within these lessons the Informing Framework used is the Gradual Release of Responsibility
model. This model was chosen due to the variety of students abilities and levels of
development within the class.
This model is very much based on the I DO, WE DO, YOU DO approach which allows for
the teacher to model or scaffold the lessons to ensure all students comprehend and are
engaged in the lesson (Levy, 2007).
