Meeting Minutes

Call to order at 1:05pm on July 14, 2014

A meeting of the Grand Haven Croquet Club Board of Directors was held at Creekside on 7/14/14.
Attendees included Cassandra Gaisor, Bill Todd, Naomi Mass, Rich Burns, Ivonne Croizer. Members
not in attendance included Tony Dos Santos & John Fitterman. Guest attendee was Barry Kloptosky -
CDD operations manager.
Approval of minutes
The Minutes of the June 9, 2014 Board meeting were approved.
Reports
Treasurer - Bill Todd
Opening balance was $13,172.32 and closing balance as of 7/14/14 is $13,239.04. The increase was the
result of the purchase of various items of Logo Wear and name tags.
President - Cassandra Gaisor
State of the courts - Barry Klopsky reported that the reconstruction of the Creekside Croquet Court will
proceed as soon as the water pumping station renovation is completed. The renovation will be
completed as soon as the appropriate permit is secured from the City of Palm Coast.
Play Day - an informal meeting was held with Presidents and past Presidents, at Hammock
Dunes, and it was decided that this would require further discussions.
Vice-President - Tony Dos Santos - submitted written report
By Laws - nothing to report.
Nominations - nothing to report.
Sunshine - sympathy card was sent to Steve Davidson for his mothers death.
Grounds & Equipment - the CDD purchased a new set of wickets and the damaged black
stripped ball was replaced.
Logo Wear - all items ordered were delivered to each individual except for Polly Winters and Joe
Zilligan, who were away.
Membership - John Fitterman - not present at meeting, but advised nothing to report
Social Committee - Co-Chair Ivonne Croiser - reported that Ginny Legge will be co-chair.
Tournament Committee - Rich Burns
Invitational Tournament - committees are being formed and will be completed shortly.
Rich was asked to arrange a meeting with all clinic instructors in order to coordinate their
methods & style of instruction.

Old Business
Bylaws Committee - Joelle Rice has agreed to serve, but committee is still not complete.
New Business
Date for Annual Meeting & Election in 2015 set for April 14, 2015 (Tuesday).
Clinics on vacation during the month of August.
Fall Homecoming Social set for Sept. 27, 2014 at Creekside (Saturday).
Christmas Social - Ginny Legge has agreed to host it at her home - date to be determined.
Future Board of Directors Meeting Dates: August 11,2014 & September 8, 2014.
