SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT:

The summative assessment that will be conducted during this unit is an information report on
Ancient Greece. The students will be required to work on this at home and at school. The required
task is for students to cover what they learnt about Ancient Greece. This will include, life, war, the
gods and goddesss and stories that have come out of this incredible time. The learning outcomes
that have been identified for this assignment include:
Sequence historical people and events (ACHHS098)
Identify and locate a range of relevant sources (ACHHS101)
Use a range of communication forms (oral, graphic, written) and digital technologies
(ACHHS106)
Use a range of software including word processing programs with fluency to construct, edit
and publish written text and select, edit and place visual print and audio elements
(ACELY1707)
Create literary texts that experiment with structures, ideas and stylistics features of selected
authors (ACELT1798)
